1946

             Nov. 26 First meeting to organize
             Orange Masonic Club; Attending were

                  Albert M. Gesler P.M. of Trumbull 22

                  Herbert 1. Emanuelson P.M. of Wooster 79

                  Howard J. Graff of Olive Branch 84

                  George M. Curtis of Olive Branch 84

                  Roger MacKenzie of Day Spring 30, and

                  J. Leroy Warner of St. Andrew 64

 

1947   
           Feb. 26   First Club Dinner-Meeting with 75 Present  (held annually since this date)

           June 22   St. John�s Service held at Orange Congregational Church

           July 22    First Picnic held at Herb Emanuelson 's Home

 

1948   
           Jan 28   Second meeting with 105 present including Grand Master Chas. J. Ramage present.

Name �Orange Masonic Square Club was adopted.

           Nov. 10  Ladies night at Congregational Church

 

1950  
           Sept. 10  First Outing at Robert T. Woodruff  home. The first of several successful family parties.

 

1951  
          May 26  First Masonic Lodge Meeting in Orange held at  Mary L. Tracy School with Annawon Lodge 115 acting as host  Under Dispensation, Ronald W. Hine, candidate.

 

1952  
          Apr. 1 First Sunday Service and Visit to Masonic Home, Wallingford.

 

1959  
          Nov. 17  First Meeting of �Committee of Six� to Discuss Formation of a New Lodge; R.W. Bro. Albert M. Gesler, Grand Junior Steward, W. Bro. Raymond F. May, President-Orange Masonic Square Club, W. Bro. William E. Schulz, Secretary-Orange Masonic Square Club, R.W. Bro. William Nyquist, Past District Deputy, W. Bro. Arthur P. Huber, Post Master, Annawon Lodge 115, and Bro. Christian F. Winkle Jr., Annawon Lodge 115

 

         Nov. 30  Meeting with Annawon Officers to outline plans for New Lodge.

 

1960   
          Jan. 26  First full Meeting of Masons of Orange to discuss question of New Lodge.

          June 28  Meeting held to approve request for Dispensation.. Name �Orange Lodge� adopted.

          Sep. 20  Dispensation presented by Grand Master Russell H. Milnes and First Meeting held Under Dispensation.

 

1961
           Oct thru June Ten regular and three special communications held.Thirteen candidates raised

          Sept. 16  Constitution of Orange Lodge 143 and Installation of Officers at Mary L. Tracy School, Orange.
